هدف: هدف این مطالعه بررسی رابطه معنای شغلی و بهزیستی ذهنی با میانجیگری رضایت شغلی بود. روش: این پژوهش از نوع پژوهش‌های توصیفی بود. در این پژوهش ۲۸۰ نفر از کارکنان شرکت پالایش نفت اصفهان به روش نمونه‌گیری سهمیه‌ای انتخاب شدند. ابزار اندازه‌گیری پرسشنامه‌های معنای شغلی (ورزسنیسکی، 1999)، بهزیستی ذهنی (مولـوی و همکـاران، 1387) و رضایت شغلی (ویسوکی و کروم، 1994) بود. داده‌ها از طریق مدل‌یابی معادلات ساختاری مورد تحلیل قرار گرفت. یافته ها: نتایج نشان داد معنای شغلی امرارمعاش بر بهزیستی ذهنی اثر مستقیم و منفی معنادار) ۰۵/0 (p< و معنای شغلی مسیر پیشرفت بر بهزیستی ذهنی اثر مستقیم و مثبت معنادار داشت) 0۰1/0 (p<. ضمن اینکه معنای شغلی رسالت بر بهزیستی ذهنی از طریق رضایت شغلی تأثیر غیرمستقیم و مثبت معناداری داشت) 01/0 (p<. نقش میانجیگری رضایت شغلی در رابطه معناهای شغلی امرارمعاش و مسیر پیشرفت با بهزیستی ذهنی تأیید نشد. نتیجه گیری: به‌طورکلی یافته‌ها نشان داد که از میان معناهای مختلف شغلی، معناهای شغلی امرارمعاش و مسیر پیشرفت اثر مستقیم بر بهزیستی ذهنی و معنای شغلی رسالت از طریق رضایت شغلی اثر غیرمستقیم بر بهزیستی ذهنی دارد.
