Abstract

The main objective of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of group training, based on transactional analysis affecting the anger and neurotically of the girl students of grade one in high school ,in the city of Rasht. this experimental research was carried out on 60 individuals from those students who were rated “high” in aggression test(AGQ).This sample was selected through the phased random selection and it was divided in two equal groups (experimental and control group), randomly. subsequently, the group training program was represented to the experiment group, after the method of transactional analysis ,based on the assembly of concepts, within 8 ninety-minute sessions for each week , and during this period, no interference was imposed on the control group. Then, after the end of training, the AGQ-test(post-test) was applied to both experiment and control groups, simultaneously and under the identical circumstances. the obtained information from the pre-test and post-test were analyzed using the statistical covariance.The additional obtained results suggested that there was a significant difference between the experimental and control groups(P=0.0001). In other words, the experimental interference (group training based on the transactional analysis) has given rise to reduce the anger and neurotically in experimental group.

Abstract

The Purpose of present study was to examine the effectiveness of positive psychology based training on resiliency and anger control on high school students in Yazd city. In this research we used experimental design with pretest-posttest and control group. Statistical community contained students who were studying in first class of high school in Yazd in 1391-1392. Multi-stage cluster random sampling was used and 24 students with low resiliency and high anger score were chosen and placed in control and experimental groups randomly and equally. Experimental group were taught based on positive psychology during 12 sessions. We used Connor and Davidson resilience and trait –state questionnaire. Covariance analysis used for data analysis. Results showed that positive psychology training was effective on resilience and anger control and its some subscales. Positive psychology training with reinforcement of positive emotions and perception of abilities can increase resiliency. Also, this training with using of subjective experience and forgiveness helps for anger control and replacement of anger with positive emotions. l

Abstract

T Hosein Ghamari Qivi , Ali Sheykholeslami , Zahra Adel Aim: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy on anger and psychological well-being of aggressive girls. Method: The research methodology was semi-experimental with pretest and posttest design with control group. The statistical population of study included all the prisoners in the women’s ward of the Central Prison in Ardabil, Iran, in the year 2014. Total of 30 participants with high scores on Spielbergers’ state-trait anger expression inventory were selected using simple random sampling. Participants were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups (15 persons each). The experimental group received 8 sessions of cognitive-behavioral therapy. Spielbergers’ state-trait anger expression inventory and psychological well-being questionnaire were used to gather data. Collected data was analyzed by multivariable co-variance test. Results: Findings indicated that cognitive-behavioral therapy seemed to have an effect on anger and psychological well-being of aggressive girls, such that the participants in the experimental group showed significantly lowered levels of anger and higher psychological well-being when compared with those in the control group. Conclusions: Therefore, it can be concluded that cognitive-behavioral therapy seems to have a significant effect by decreasing the level of anger and to increase the psychological well-being in girls with high levels of aggressiveness.

Abstract

Aim:The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of psychological inflexibility and emotion dysregulation in predicting intensity of anger in competitive athletes. Methods: This was a descriptive and correlational research. The statistical population of this study consisted of all competitive athletes (all athletes who participated in any level of competitive sport, either individual or collective) in city of Ardebil in 2019. From a total of participants, 312 were selected through cluster sampling to be included in the study. To collect data, the Clinical Anger Scale (Snell et al , 1995), Comprehensive assessment of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (Comp ACT) Scale (Francis et al, 2016) and Emotion Dysregulation Scale (Gratz, & Roemer, 2004) were used. Data analysis was done through Pearson correlation and Multiple Linear regression formula. Results: The results of multiple regression analysis also showed that 38% of variance of intensity of anger is explained by components of psychological inflexibility and emotion dysregulation variables. There was also a significant positive relationship between psychological inflexibility and emotion dysregulation with intensity of anger (P<0/05). Conclusion: Based on the findings, it can probably be said that athletes who are not capable of emotion regulation and are not capable of flexible behaviors in competitive situations, experience more anger.

Abstract

Aim: Nowadays marriage is considered the most important pillar of a stable family and as such is quite a big concern for the average youth. Therefore reaching a successful marriage requires paying attention to different variables of this crucial subject. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to reveal a template for a successful marriage and all of its strengthening and endangering variables, considering the Iranian culture. Methods: The research method for this study was super compositional, and the statistical population included all local research in this field between the years of 2009 to 2019 that were acquired following a systematic selection criteria, that yielded 21 articles. Results: The result of this research showed that the most important factors of a successful marriage can be divided into 4 themes and 16 main factors with 146 strengthening and endangering factors, which include individual factors, environmental factors, couple factors, and criteria for mate selection. The main factors include moral, personal, or identity characteristics, religious and spiritual beliefs, including problem solving skills, parenting, effective relations with spouse, family ties with spouse, financial issues, sexual issues, cultural factors, societal factors and family, knowing the expectations, needs and wants, same mindedness, general maturity and general, physical, and mental health. All of the above mentioned main factors all have their own sub factors within themselves. Conclusion: It is expected that this project will be of use to researchers and family and marriage specialists.

Abstract

Aim: The purpose of this study was to comparison of effectiveness of group training anger management and psycho-social empowerment on prosocial behaviors and social adjustment of girl high school students in Tehran city. Methods: This quasi-experimental study was conducted with a pretest-posttest design with control group and follow-up after two months. The statistical population of this study included all the high school girl students Tehran city to 125110 people were in year academic 2020-2021 and 90 girl students by random sampling were considered as the sample size in two experimental groups (each group of 30 girl students) and control (30 girl students). The experimental groups underwent group training anger management (12 sessions 90 minutes) and psycho-social empowerment (12 sessions 90 minutes), but the control group received no training and remained in the waiting list. To collect data prosocial personality questionnaire (PPQ) of Penner (2002) and adjustment inventory for school students (AISS) of Sinha and Singh (1993). Data analysis was performed using SPSS-24 software in two sections: descriptive and inferential (analysis of variance with repeated measures and Bonferroni). Findings:The results of the study showed that both types of treatment in post-test and follow up had a significant effect on prosocial behaviors and social adjustment of girl high school students (P<0.05).  Also, group training anger management had stronger effects in improvement of aggression and social self-efficacy (P<0.05). Conclusion:  Based on the results of this study, it can be said that group training anger management and psycho-social empowerment can be used as a treatment to improvement of prosocial behaviors and social adjustment of girl high school students in Tehran city in counseling centers and psychological services
