Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of identity styles and personality factors in Predicting marital conflicts in couples. The population was 120 individual (60 male, 60 female) With purposive sampling. Instruments of this study were Berzonsky identity questionnaire, NEO short form and marital conflicts barati and sanaii. stepwise regression was used to analyze the data. The results showed that among the five factors of personality: adaptability, conscientiousness and neuroticism were able to significantly predict marital conflicts .Also the identity information among identity styles could predict marital conflicts. The research findings in prevention and treatment programs can be used to reduce marital conflicts.

Abstract

Introduction: society and the institution of the family in Iran in recent decades have been dramatic changes. This primarily changes is due to in various aspects of different component, and most recently has been the most important component of communication technology. Knowing the causes of these changes in the family structure guides us into a dynamic community and a family.

This study examines the factors affecting oriented to family structure changes caused by the media were allowed. . Methods: In this study, the qualitative approach and method of grounded theory for the understanding and interpretation of the causes that affect the use of social media were used.

 Society Of this study, were selected according to the study objectives and included people who were over 30 years old and  Among them 28 people interviews, according to data saturation semi-structured were deep. Research questions centered on the changes in family structure due to social media, and stuff, open and axial coding used for research question. Results: According to research findings, major categories were: Scientific and recreational infrastructure, personal factors, government and the media, modernity and cultural factors, social factors modernity, Family factors, the essentials of modern life, factors of modern communication. And Core categories include: factors modernity. Conclusion: According to research, findings concluded that Changes in family structure as a result of inter structural factors such as Modern communication factors, personal factors and factors of modern family. And external family structure such as: scientific infrastructure and entertainment, government and media, modernity and cultural factors, social factors modernity, the essentials of modern life, respectively.

Abstract

Abstract

Subjective: The aim of this study was to identify affecting factors on the marital commitment considering Iranian couple’s viewpoints.Method: The research method was qualitative and performed using content analysis. Based on purposive sampling and theoretical saturation criterion, 10 couples participated in this study. Data collection used with semi-structured in-depth interviews.Findings: After content analysis of data, three main categories were identified: couple competency, individual competency, and contextual factors. couple competency has 12 sub-categories, which include: Encouragement and reassurance, Genuineness , conflict management, Humorous attitude, Coordination and consultation, Clarity of roles, Social networking, support and companionship, fidelity, Imagining a future for a relationship, making effort to communicate and offering tangible reminder and individual competency has 4 sub-categories includes modeling of original family, experiences of original family, Religious and spiritual beliefs and values, Positive attitudes to marriage and contextual factors Including a subcategory as demographic characteristics.conclusion: Increasing marital commitment and stability of marriage is required achieving and having skills in all three areas, and considering the roles of each area can be improving marital commitment by making packages based on this factors.

Abstract

Aim: Nowadays marriage is considered the most important pillar of a stable family and as such is quite a big concern for the average youth. Therefore reaching a successful marriage requires paying attention to different variables of this crucial subject. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to reveal a template for a successful marriage and all of its strengthening and endangering variables, considering the Iranian culture. Methods: The research method for this study was super compositional, and the statistical population included all local research in this field between the years of 2009 to 2019 that were acquired following a systematic selection criteria, that yielded 21 articles. Results: The result of this research showed that the most important factors of a successful marriage can be divided into 4 themes and 16 main factors with 146 strengthening and endangering factors, which include individual factors, environmental factors, couple factors, and criteria for mate selection. The main factors include moral, personal, or identity characteristics, religious and spiritual beliefs, including problem solving skills, parenting, effective relations with spouse, family ties with spouse, financial issues, sexual issues, cultural factors, societal factors and family, knowing the expectations, needs and wants, same mindedness, general maturity and general, physical, and mental health. All of the above mentioned main factors all have their own sub factors within themselves. Conclusion: It is expected that this project will be of use to researchers and family and marriage specialists.
